Project Outline

R Noone & Son (affectionately known as ‘Noones’) are a leading fruit and vegetable supplier to the restaurant trade operating from premises close to Manchester. Our brief was to completely redevelop a first floor office space into a modern and forward thinking development kitchen that Noones could offer to their ever expanding client list in order to assist in the development of ingredients and forthcoming menu’s, but could also host larger seminars, product launches and open days.

As the proposed space itself was a 1970’s built sales office space, this installation was not going to be straightforward. Access was poor, there was no gas into the building and a very limited electrical capacity, no water supply or drainage to the first floor and ten inches worth of concrete slab between this and the floor below. Not ideal!

Having stripped out the office we then completely rejuvenated the space installing new ventilation, water and electrical services and redecorating before installing a brand new cooking suite, which due to the access limitations was built within the room. The New Rational XS was also commissioned along with dishwashing facilities and refrigeration.

How we did it
